Mizuno Ladies Wave Cabrakan 2 Shoes SS11: With AP+, Mizuno has engineered a midsole polymer that provides fantastic cushioning mile after mile. Runners will actually see the benefit of AP+ in the increased durability of the midsoles, but more importantly, they will feel the benefit every time they take to the road. A high-tech formulation using multiple polymer types gives AP+ its exceptional performance in terms of cushioning durability, increased rebound and springy feel. Extensive testing has shown that even after 600km of running, the cushioning performance of AP+ stays close to its maximum. Other polymers lose a high proportion of their cushioning properties quite early in their lifetime. But AP+ retains 80% if its cushioning, even after 600km, keeping that fresh out of the box feel. Comfort is accentuated by the unique rebound properties of AP+ which gives it its springy feel. With every impact, AP+ recovers more quickly and more completely than standard midsole polymers giving the shoe a spring which makes for a fantastic ride. The Mizuno Wave Cabrakan 2 offers the serious trail runner supreme grip, stability and protection, whilst also being flexible and well cushioned to cope with any harder surface. Wave Cabrakan 2 uses nano coated water resistant mesh upper, an ultra-thin and lightweight protective layer. The layer, equivalent in thickness to one-thousandth of a human hair, coats each fibre using an ionised gas to give the shoe extremely high water-repellent properties. Cabrakan retains exceptional breathability, allows continued ventilation and keeps feet drier and blister-free. Cushioning comes from the Mizuno Wave which absorbs shock at heel strike. The full length wave plate the guides the foot through the gait cycle. Mildly supportive the Wave will be ideal for those runners needing some support. The forefoot is flexible adapting to the terrain you are running on, combined with VS1 cushioning under toes to provide a smooth and comfortable ride. Smoothride Engineering minimizes the rapid acceleration and deceleration of the foot during transition, creating the smoothest ride possible. The most durable carbon rubber that allows for longer wear in high impact areas and supplements traction at heel strike.
